- Cut Carbonaut bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle the bread cubes with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine spices and nutritional yeast, mixing well.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the bread cubes, tossing again to ensure even coating.
- Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake until crispy and golden, about 6 minutes per side, ensuring no moisture remains.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Tips:
- Make sure bread contains no moisture when you remove it from the oven, or croutons will get soft quickly.
- Sprinkle croutons with plant-based parmesan cheese or other herbs after baking!
- For best taste and texture results, consume within 48 hours.
- Store in airtight container.
